Why the Celebrity Niche is So Attractive For Webmasters

If the stats for this site for sale are true, then I have underestimated the celebrity niche. I tend to shy away from anything ultracompetitive, but if this guy went from launch to $500/month and 25K uniques in just two months, that’s pretty cool.

    Pretty impressive. I guess if you have the inside sources you can really make it big like Perez Hilton, but regurgitating the gossip from other blogs and forums can still bring in $500/month.

    It’s really a good deal at BIN given the potential upside, but
    a) I have no interest in writing it
    and
    b) The earnings history is too short for my taste

    Yep, usually I don’t see a 10x revenue BIN. But looking at it really makes me wonder how hard it would be to start from scratch if I were to do that.
